hi phil i see u
for a generalist coyotes have a nose for finding food and strong teeth so they can eats lots of teeth adaption to live in lots of places and protects itself because coyotes are mostly in packs a variety of foods to eat and it can lives in many places it is suitable for lots of environments. for a specialists a polar bear is a good example. polar bears are only suitable to live in the artic it uses it fur for camouflage and it uses his big paws to walk around on the ice and for swimming long distances he can only eat some things but it wouldn't be able to live in any other environment.
A generalist would be a raccoon because it can eat multiple things so it doesn't matter where it lives. A specialist would be a panda because all they eat is bamboo.
A panda is built for eating bamboo by having a lower jaw for chewing the bamboo and the raccoon is built for being a generalist by having an ability to grab things quickly from the garbage
generalist- wolfs they can go anywhere they want and the weather wont affect them as much.
specialists-pandas because they need bamboo and and cant live in places in where it is too cold or super hot.
generalists- coyotes because they can survive almost anywhere and eat almost anything.
Specialists- scorpian, because they are built for heat and do not need a ton of food or water and can go long times without food or water. They are small so they take less food and can eat many things.
a generalist can move to ecosystem to ecosystem and live. ex squirrel
a specialist has to live in a specific spot and stays in one ecosystem ex tree frogs
A pike and a lake white fish.A lake whitefish is a specialist.A whitefish can only stand minute amounts of temperature change, they can only thrive in deep, cold lakes. They also feed strictly on fry (baby fish) and crustaceans.A pike can stand almost any type of water conditions, whether its a tiny creek or deep lake.Pike have large mouths and feed on a huge variety of things. They can eat tiny bugs or eat fish up to one third their length
A generalist can move from ecosystem to ecosystem and be fine in that area. Example: A coyote moves from place to place and finds food to eat and a place to live.
A specialist lives in it's own ecosystem and it's body has adapted to it's own area and if it move to a different ecosystem it would die.
Example: A specialist would be a polar bear, the polar bear has adapted to the cold and also it knows where to find food and where to find shelter and if they moved they would die.
Specialists can only live in one ecosystem, either with lots of water, some water or non at all.Specialists can only eat curtain foods.
EX: zebra, hot climate. panda, wet and warm, etc.
These animals can't be in all, If they are generalists than they can live in all, and eat almost anything. They can live from the freezing cold of winter to the ice cold of winter.
Ex: Deer, rats, coyote, etc.
A raccoon is a generalists. They eat a variety of foods and can adapt to different environments. They have hand like paws. A polar bear is a specialists because they are suited for the cold. They have a layer of fat under their skin to help them stay warm. They have large paws to help them walk on snow. Their white fur helps them blend in with the snow
A Polar bear is a specialist because. A polar bear has seven layers that's how it can handle the cold. plus it has huge paws to make a bigger area when its walking on the ice plus it has white fur that blends into the snow. But it is a specialist because if you were to take it into the desert it would die. A specialist would be a cougar because it has big claws thats how it can climb in the tree, plus it can blend into the trees and jumps down onto its pray, but it eats almost anything meat, But its a generalist because it can travel up to 132km a day and doesnt stay in one place.
A Squid, Being a specialist, has to live in the water, and it can camouflage itself to hide on the ocean floor and eats fish.
A generalist would be a dog. they can live in many places, like Europe Alaska and eat i variety of things, such as fish rats mice raccoon and squirrels.
A generalist can be a wild rabbit. It can be put into different ecosystems and can eat a variety of different things. Their bodies can handle low temperatures. Their fur is thick to keep them warm.
A specialist could be a koala. It is very limited to what it can eat and can not live in a variety of ecosystems. It only has a limited diet and would not survive it did not have that food source.
generalist- an example of a generalist is a raccoon because they eat garbage, clams, bat etc and they live in a variety of places such as city's ,forests, etc.
specialists- An example of a specialist is a cape may warbler because it eats only incects at the top of the tree and can only live at the top of the tree.
If a company is looking for someone good to hire, they would look for someone that is specialized for that job, not look for someone who is generalized in that subject. An example of this would be, if a chemistry laboratory was looking for someone to hire and two people interviewed. One of the people had a major is science, but the other had a major in chemistry. Since the lab is based on a chemistry, and one of the people specializes in it, they would pick that person first.
A generalist is an organism capable of adapting to different changes in the environment. An example of this would be a coyote. A specialist would be an organism that is not capable of adapting to different environment, and example of this would be a tree frog.
